McFoy ready for first trip coming up
One official visit is set up for Chino (Calif.) safety Ryan McFoy but with hard work in the classroom he may have more offered schools to choose from for trips.
UCLA and USC said to McFoy that they're interested but will only offer if he makes up a couple of English courses. The three-star rated prospect is in the process of that, but for now is waiting on his first official visit to Arizona State to come.

"I'm excited," McFoy said about his ASU trip. "I just want to check it out and see the environment there. I can't wait to see how the coaches and players are. I heard it's a good school from everyone, so I'll see when I get there."
McFoy is thinking about other trips to USC, Oregon State, and Washington. However, it looks like UCLA and USC have somewhat of an early lead.
"They're close to home and both of them have great programs," McFoy said about the Bruins and Trojans. "But, the Oregon State coach told me how they put a lot of defensive backs into the NFL so that's another school I'm interested in."
His decision will not come before he completes trips.
"I want to see all these schools first," McFoy said. "I'll decide when I get done with however many I take."
McFoy and his team will have their first game this week after scrimmaging last week.
"We look good," he said. "School starts tomorrow so things are starting to pick back up again."
McFoy is the No. 90 rated prospect in California.
