McFoy excited about 1st visit

Chino (Calif.) has a handful of players that will sign Div I this year and maybe the best prospect on the team is defensive back Ryan McFoy. The talented athlete will take his first official visit this weekend and said five schools lead the way right now.
McFoy, 6-2, 190 pounds is one of the top safety prospects in the West region. He has good size and speed and is equally strong in run support or in pass coverage. McFoy is the younger brother of USC wide out Chris McFoy but is being recruited strictly on the defensive side of the ball.

The safety was originally scheduled to visit ASU a few weeks back when the Sun Devils hosted USC but he wasn't able to make the visit. That visit will now take place this weekend.
"I'm very excited to see Arizona State, they're my top school right now," McFoy said. "They have a strong program and I really get along well with all of their coaches. I like the Pac 10 and ASU is close to home as well so there are a lot of pluses with them.
"UCLA, USC, Oregon State and Oregon are the other schools in my top five all but UCLA and USC have offered. I'm in the process of setting up visit dates with the two Oregon schools but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. I definitely want to take a few of my visits before I make my decision. Even if this trip to ASU goes really well, I still want to take my trips so I have something to compare it to."
