McFall ready for strong 2009

Linebacker Kevin McFall had a solid junior season and is poised for an even better 2009 campaign. He's currently in the middle of wrestling season, but it won't be long until football preparations resume.
At 6-feet, 215-pounds, McFall has been placed in a tough position because of his two sports.

"(Kevin) attended the U.S. Army All-American Combine," said his father, Gary McFall. "He was middle of the road there.
"He's been wrestling right now and they're having issues with his weight. They're trying to get that down but he's going to be building it back up for football."
McFall's father said two schools in particular are showing his son a lot of attention.
"He gets mail all the time," he said. "It's started to stop at this time of year, but he's been getting a lot. The two that are showing the most interest would be Boston College and Connecticut.
"He's very interested in the University of Connecticut. He feels like he could play linebacker there. Maybe not right away, but he could work himself into that program and he sees a good fit. Academically they have a lot of stuff that he's interested in."
McFall plans on attending Football University at Rutgers during the first week of May. During the second week of June he will attend a senior camp at Penn State.
