"I'm going to Grand Valley State," linebacker Michael McFadden said. "My grades weren't good enough for Division 1."
"So I'll sign with Grand Valley State."
McFadden, a 6-foot-0 and 230 pounder at Saginaw (Mich.) Heritage, had drawn interest from Michigan, Michigan State, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Buffalo.
