McFadden gives Spartans a ten

Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely cornerback Walter McFadden took an official visit to Auburn back in October and this weekend he took his second official visit to East Lansing to check out the Michigan State Spartans host Wisconsin.
“Well there really isn’t a whole lot to say about it,” McFadden said. “I guess the two things that come to mind were that it was fun and that it was cold. Overall I would probably rate the trip a ten, it was perfect.”

The 6-foot-0, 175-pound McFadden ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds at the NIKE camp this summer and also posted a 31-inch vertical jump.
“I think the visit helped Michigan State some,” McFadden said. “I got to see the depth chart and after seeing it I think I could go in and play early there. I would still say that Auburn is my leader though.”
Rated a three-star and the nation’s No. 25 cornerback by Rivals.com, McFadden picked off four passes as a junior and hauled in six passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns on offense.
“This weekend I think I am going to the Florida-Florida State game,” McFadden said. “At this point I have not set up any other official visits.”
