McDowell is home to two juniors

Erie (Pa.) McDowell is home to two college prospects to consider. They include offensive tackle Jake Anderson and linebacker Justin Schaaf.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Anderson hasn't received too much interest yet according to McDowell head coach Joe Tarasovich.

"He's going to be a great find for a Division I school as they don't really know about him and it's pretty early," he said. "He's been backing up people most of his high schools career.
"He really came on this past season for us even though he shares time with other players. He has solid footwork which may even be better than Dan Matha's. He's also a dedicated weight lifter and overall a really solid player."
Meanwhile, the 5-foot-10, 215-pound Schaaf didn't play as a junior due to injury.
"He had an excellent sophomore year as he was named all-region and all-district," he said. "We're hoping he gets back to the way he played then because he's aggressive and smart. He does a good job of reading the field and I think he'll definitely be an all-state linebacker candidate."
Due to the injury, Schaaf hasn't received any interest from colleges. Tarasovich expects that to change once coaches check out his sophomore film and see him in person.
