McDonald commits to Illinois
"My visit to Illinois went very well," offensive lineman Ryan McDonald said. "They offered and I accepted."
"My parents both went to Illinois and my dad played there. So Illinois was where I always wanted to go."

"They have the country's third best engineering program. And I like the coaches."
"I'm going to cancel my visits to Yale and Western Michigan. I don't see any point in going."
The 6-foot-5 and 245 pound McDonald, from Holland (Mich.) West Ottawa, also made an official visit to Toledo. Illinois, Toledo, and Western Michigan offered McDonald a scholarship.
