McDonald a hot Sunshine State target

Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington quarterback Sancho McDonald was one of the recent upgrades by Rivals.com to the three-star level, and it's no surprise considering the strong summer that he had that he's become one of Florida's hottest quarterback recruits.
"I did pretty good this summer," McDonald said.

"I felt really good at the Rutgers 7-on-7 camp, and I really improved my game. Compared to last year, I'm better on my reads and looking off the defender. I'm a lot better at reading the defense. I'm also more comfortable out there."
McDonald has landed three offers so far from Rutgers, South Florida and Minnesota. At this point it looks like Rutgers and South Florida lead the way.
"I pretty much like Rutgers and South Florida," he said. "They'd probably be my leaders. I really like Rutgers, though. I just like the weapons they have at receiver. In the 7-on-7 camp, we went all the way to the championship game, but lose there. I have talked to Greg Schiano. He's a good coach that's really down to earth. He's really fun to be around."
South Florida also has its draw.
"They were texting me when they good," he said. "I'm being recruited by the quarterback coach (Greg Gregory). He's a good guy, too."
Minnesota has also offered, but McDonald said he's not heard much from them lately. He also has heard from LSU and Ole Miss this summer and would be interested in both schools.
When asked what player he most resembles on the field, he pointed toward Tennessee Titan quarterback Vince Young.
"I play like him," McDonald said. "He's my idol and that's who I model my game after."
