McDaniel focused on three schools

San Antonio (Texas) Taft wide receiver Otis McDaniel still has two visits lined up. But, he’s working on a third.
“Right now I just have Purdue (Dec. 5) and Wisconsin (Dec. 12) set up,” the 6-foot-1, 175-pound McDaniel said. “But, I’m talking to TCU about visiting there. I just haven’t been able to get with them and get a date picked out.”

Earlier on, McDaniel was hearing from Kansas State, Pittsburgh and Oklahoma.
“Oklahoma is full at receiver,” he said. “And Kansas State and Pittsburgh haven’t been calling as much lately. So, I really am just focusing on mainly those three schools.”
Taft opens the playoffs Friday after starting the season 7-3.
“We’re ready for the game,” he said. “We just want to keep it going and see how far we can get.”
McDaniel’s stats come out from his coach on Tuesday.
“Coach doesn’t give those out until tomorrow,” he said. “I really don’t know what kind of stats I have. I just look at it when he gets them ready. It’s not a big deal to me.”
