McDaniel down to two

According to Brett Lemoine, the offensive coordinator at San Antonio (Texas) Taft three-star receiver Otis McDaniel has reduced his list to two teams after taking a second of three official visits this past weekend.
“He was up at Wisconsin, and he had a really good time,” Lemoine said. “He thanked coach (Rob) Ianello at Wisconsin for recruiting him, but after talking to Otis this morning it’s down to TCU and Purdue. I think he’s still leaning a little bit to TCU over Purdue, but we’ll know more about the situation after he visits TCU this weekend.”

Texas Tech is also somewhat still in the picture, his coach said, but the Red Raiders wouldn’t be able to get a visit from McDaniel until January and he would like to have his decision made by then.
“He’s going to play in the U.S. Army All-America game,” Lemoine said. “And he would like to be able to decide around then. He might even announce then at the game.”
