McCullough has elite speed

Royal Palm Beach (Fla.) wide receiver Tremaine McCullough is a 5-foot-8, 154-pound wide with great speed. At Sunday's Miami Under Armour Combine, he was clocked at 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash and when it came time for one-on-one and seven-on-seven competition he exhibited that same elite speed. That speed, combined with good hands, is a major reason McCullough is drawing his fair share of early interest.
"Schools that are liking me are Wisconsin, Florida, Maryland, and some others," McCullough said. "I think just Wisconsin has verbally offered me."

During the fall, a pair of those schools were in regular communication with McCullough.
"Maryland came down to the school," McCullough said. "I have talked with coaches from Maryland and from Florida."
With regards to the coaches he spoke with at Maryland and Florida, the conversations he had with the staff came prior to coaching overhauls at the two schools.
Over the past couple months, McCullough has yet to hit the road for any Junior Days.
"I haven't been to any schools yet for a Junior Day," McCullough said. "I don't know of anything coming up for me."
At this point, McCullough isn't in a rush when it comes to making any decisions.
"I am just taking it all in right now," McCullough said. "I want to find a school with the best academics and football programs. I also want a coach that can make me a better player and that has a football team that is working hard to be the best."
As a junior, McCullough had 31 receptions for 343 yards and two touchdowns. He also had seven rushes for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
