McCoy waits on first offers

After watching his senior teammate Sergio Kindle graduate early and get down to Texas for spring ball, junior cornerback Greg McCoy has been looking to get his recruiting process started quickly as well.
McCoy, at 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, went down to the junior day at Baylor recently and is also receiving large quantities of mail from top teams such as Florida. Those two programs are high on his list but he's not naming favorites just yet.

"They're recruiting me the hardest with a lot of text messages and mail," he said. "They just keep wanting me to come down to their junior camp to see how I'm doing and about taking my SAT. They send me mail all the time about updates with what's going on."
The Baylor junior day was something that McCoy enjoyed, but he's still waiting on his first offer.
"They have a good campus and everything seems to be going on down there all the time," he said. "I liked it. I was also supposed to go to Texas Tech, but I never made it out there. A lot of schools are waiting on me to take my SAT and I won't know about offers until after that."
McCoy remains quiet about favorites.
"I don't have one right now," he said. "I'm just looking at everything and checking it all out."
