McCoy ready to hit the road

Topeka, Kan., three-star running back Mike McCoy has yet to attend a college game this season, but he has a couple options over the final two weekends.
"I am supposed to go to the K-State game when they play West Virginia (Dec. 5)," McCoy said. "Arkansas wants me to come down for a game, and I'm trying to see if my dad will take me. They want me to come down for the Mississippi State game this weekend."

McCoy already holds an offer from Kansas State, as well as the other in-state Big 12 program, Kansas.
"I have a lot of interest in both of those schools," McCoy said. "I am really just trying to decide which school is the best for me. When the time comes, I hope my heart gives me the right decision."
McCoy is also waiting to see if additional offers come through. He is finalizing his senior highlight film and working in the classroom to answer any final questions programs might have.
"Arkansas is the closest. They are waiting on my next ACT scores," McCoy said. "Oklahoma State signed one running back, so they are just deciding what running back to offer because they have five other running backs they are looking at."
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound McCoy just finished an 8-2 senior campaign with his Topeka High team, rushing for close to 1,600 yards and scoring 27 total touchdowns.
