McCovy is back from UCLA

Lakewood (Calif.) linebacker Adrian McCovy took his final official visit this past weekend to UCLA and said he's now down to three schools although two of the three have a slight edge right now.
"I had a great time," McCovy said. "Wesley Walker was my host and I hung out with Justin London a lot too. I saw the campus and the facilities and we went out to some cool party's. A fight broke out at one of them but that's L.A, it's nothing I'm not used to.

"The coaches were real cool and told me linebacker is a big need for them. They want me to come in and expect to compete for playing time right away. That's what I'm looking to do as well, early playing time is important to me. I got along really well with everyone, I related well to the players since I'm from here and we all bonded pretty good.
"Right now, I'm down to UCLA, Arizona and Oregon State but I would give Arizona and UCLA a slight edge just because the weather is better. It's very close between Arizona and UCLA, very close. If I had to give anyone an edge there, it would probably be a small one to Arizona only because I like the idea of playing for a defensive minded head coach.
"I'm going to announce at the school on Signing Day so I have about three days to sort this thing out. I'm just going to really think hard about what I want to do but when it comes down to it, I'll probably just go with a gut feel and take it from there."
