McCollough knows of two visits

Randallstown, Md. cornerback Jamari McCollough knows of two official visits he'll be taking, most likely during his senior season.
"I really like Maryland and Virginia Tech and I'll take official visits to both," said the 6-foot-0, 172-pounder. "I've been to both places and really liked it. Maryland is close to home and a great program on the rise and I visited Virginia Tech for a day earlier this month and really liked it. It's a nice place and they play an agressive defense."

McCollough has offers from each of his two favorites as well as from schools like Michigan State, Pitt, UCLA, Syracuse, Rutgers and Purdue.
"Those are my top eight right now, but it could change," he said. "NC State seems very close to offering so they could jump in if they do."
McCollough and his teammate, defensive end Melvin Alaeze, plan on playing together in college.
"Melvin has a lot more offers right now and he likes schools like Florida State, USC and Ohio State, schools that might or might not offer me," he said. "But we agreed that we'd like to go to the same school together and take the same official visits. We're hopefully a package deal for some school, although we each have to decide things for our own good. Right now we both plan to take officials to Maryland and Virginia Tech."
As a junior, McCollough had 56 tackles and returned three of his six interceptions for touchdowns. On offense he made 28 catches for 460 yards and nine scores while running the ball 12 times for 230 yards and two more TDs.
