McCollough hears from new schools

Cornerback Jamari McCollough is one of the top athletes in the Atlantic East region and has plenty of offers. But each week new schools are joining the battle to land the Randallstown, Maryland prospect.
The 6-foot-0, 177-pound McCollough runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and is a natural at cornerback, possessing great instincts and lockdown potential at the college level. Does he have any favorites?

"All the schools that are recruiting me," he laughed. "That includes schools like Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, UConn, Pitt, Purdue, NC State, Michigan State and a bunch of others. I'll listen to anyone that will offer me a scholarship or even tell me that they like my game."
McCollough has scholarship offers from most of the schools that are interested in him, and just recently two new schools got involved.
"Louisville and Cincinnati have just started recruiting me recently," he said. "They're talking about the Big East and how they're making a jump to a conference that's more on the national scene. I'm looking for things like playing time and the chance to improve my game, so if they're interested then I'll talk to them."
While McCollough is constantly hearing and receiving offers from new schools, he said that his approach to recruiting hasn't changed dramatically at any point in the process, and he's not ready to narrow things down. He does plan on making his decision after his senior season, so those schools will have to wait a while to learn of his college destination.
