McClover moves Rutgers visit

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard wide receiver Chris McClover is a big, physical play maker who has really begun to become a hot commodity in the recruiting world. He was scheduled to take his first official visit this weekend, but had a change of plans.
“I ended up having to get my visit to Rutgers changed to next weekend (December 10),” McClover said. “Originally I was also scheduled to take an official visit to Eastern Michigan next weekend, but I am going to go up there in January at the same time as one of my friends.”

McClover certainly has the size to be a solid college wideout with his 6-foot-4, 171-pound frame. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds at the NIKE camp in Miami, but did not have a good day.
“Boston College has come in recently and started recruiting me pretty hard,” McClover said. “They came in Friday and talked to me and watched my film. Iowa was recruiting me pretty hard, but they have backed off some.”
He runs track for his high school and participates in the 400 meter and 200 meter. He is ranked as No. 2 in the county in the 400, which is one of the most competitive counties in America.
