Last season McClellan ran for 1,196 yards and 21 touchdowns helping Fitch to the state semifinals. He went on to be named Class L first team all-state and all-area.
"He is an outstanding athlete that knows how to make plays on both sides of the ball," he said. "On offense, he is a threat to score anywhere on the field. He is an excellent runner and receiver that has great feet and hips. He is real powerful too and can run over people.
"On defense, he is always around the football and has a nose for it. He is a real aggressive kid that can hit."
McClellan registered 67 tackles, five interceptions and two sacks as a junior.
The running back prospect is a solid person on and off the field as well.
"His grades are border line right now as he is a 2.4 GPA student, but he is an outstanding kid to be around and he'll be our team captain next season. He is a real nice kid with a great personality."
McClellan is looking to attend the West Point Nike Camp on May 7th along with summer camps at Connecticut and Syracuse.
