McCaffrey planning big visits

Dylan McCaffrey has brothers at Duke and Stanford, but he has been eyeing visits to see other schools in action.

The four-star quarterback from Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian already saw the Blue Devils last month, and has his sights set on checking out Michigan and UCLA this season after stopping by those schools during the summer.
McCaffrey, the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2017 class according to Rivals.com, said the Michigan trip would be for the massive matchup against rival Michigan State the weekend of Oct. 17.

WHAT'S NEXT?: The dual-threat prospect doesn't know yet when his trip to Los Angeles would be, but he definitely wants to see the Bruins in action after liking what he saw of the campus a couple months ago. He has passed for 1,144 yards and totaled 14 touchdowns in five games as a junior this season.
IN HIS WORDS: "I really want to just get a feel for the atmosphere and coaches during the season to see if I could see myself fitting there or not," McCaffrey told Rivals.com. "Earlier this season I went to Duke for the Georgia Tech game with my family, but right now I have been trying to stay in contact with all the coaches.
"My relationships with Michigan and UCLA are good; both coaches have reached out and been really eager to get to know me."
RIVALS' REACTION: The 6-foot-4, 185-pound McCaffrey doesn't anticipate making a quick decision but has not ruled that out, either. The Bruins and Wolverines each offer intriguing scenarios, though, so it would be interesting to see how those visits turn out.
