McBride Sets Two Trips

He's one of the top players in the state of New Jersey and is being recruited by some of the top programs in the country. Rivals.com ranks Claude “Turk” McBride from Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson the No. 4 weakside defensive end in the country and he has the offers to back it up. Now the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has set his first two official visits and the third should be coming soon.
"I'm going to UCLA on Oct. 25 for my first official visit. They play Stanford that weekend so it should be a great time. I also set a visit up with Michigan for Dec. 13."

Through his first three games this season, "Turk" has 20 tackles, two sacks and one interception that he returned for a touchdown. Along with UCLA and Michigan, he's listing Miami, Florida State., Clemson, Tennessee and West Virginia as his favorites.
"I know I'll visit Miami on an official, but I'm still not sure about the other two yet. Miami is such a great program and I want to make sure I visit there. Miami has always been one of my favorites and I should be setting up a visit soon."
So what makes Turk so interested in UCLA and Michigan?
"I've always been interested in UCLA, they have great tradition and we had a player from Woodrow Wilson play there in the early 90's. I know its far from home, but that's one of my reasons for the visit, I want to see if I will fit in there."
And what about Michigan?
"Hey, it's Michigan. Plus they have an excellent law program."
McBride will take all five visits before he makes his college choice.
