McAvoy to speak to Michigan

Bloomington's Tim McAvoy is one of the top 25 overall prospects in the state of Illinois. McAvoy has a number of scholarship offers on the table. While it isn't certain what school McAvoy will end up at, it also isn't certain what position he will play at the next level.
"Michigan and Notre Dame say offensive tackle," McAvoy said. "But I have offers from some other schools as a tight end. It's sort of mixed."

"I'm interested in all the schools (that are recruiting me)."
"I like Michigan. I'm supposed to call coach Moeller today or tomorrow, just for an update. I'm supposed to talk to the Notre Dame coaches pretty soon."
"The schools that have offered are Northern Illinois, Ball State, Arkansas, Cincinnati, and Wisconsin."
"I went to seven different camps, Arkansas, Northwestern, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame."
"I would like to decide before school starts hopefully, but we'll see. I don't have a favorite yet."
The 6-foot-6 and 260 pound McAvoy is an outstanding blocking tight end with the potential to be a good offensive tackle at the next level as well. Playing on a run oriented team, McAvoy had eight balls thrown his way during his junior season and caught six of them."
