Mayo adds ACC offer
Dalton, Ga., is home to one of the top offensive guards in the Southeast. It is home to 6-foot-5, 258-pound guard Cameron Mayo. After earning an offer from a SEC program a little while back, Mayo has picked up an offer from an ACC program.

“He’s just received a new offer from Duke,” said Bill Mayo, Cameron’s father said. “That goes along with his offer from Ole Miss.”
Along with Duke and Ole Miss, Mayo is getting heavy recruiting attention from Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Michigan and Vanderbilt.
Mayo lists Ole Miss and Tennessee as his top two teams, but is definitely keeping options open.
However, some coaches have commented that if the Vols offer it might be tough to turn down.
You see, Bill Mayo was an All-America lineman in Knoxville.
"My dad was an All-American at Tennessee so I kind of compare myself to him a little,” Mayo said.
“He helps me out a lot and I look up to him. I watch his tapes sometimes and see what he did."
