Maulhardt looking for offers

There have been some reports that Jake Maulhardt has offers from Boise State, BYU and Colorado but the Camarillo, Calif., wide receiver said he doesn't believe any school has offered yet.
He's hoping to pick some up soon though.

"Some say that Boise State, BYU and Colorado have verbally offered, that's what is posted on their Web sites, but I don't know about that," Maulhardt said. "Arizona State called the school and asked me if I was interested.
"I'd really like to stay in Los Angeles but I really want to play in the Pac-10. It's what I grew up watching and I want my family to be able to come to my games and all that."
Maulhardt, a 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect, was one of the better wide receivers at the recent Los Angeles NIKE Camp and he hopes that performance and many others this off-season will lead to some offers.
Early on, Arizona State and USC are his two favorites but Maulhardt said he's open to all programs that would be willing to offer. Since camp season will be important to him, Maulhardt said he's planning to take some trips to show off his game.
"My two top choices are USC and Arizona State and their camp is on the same day so when I get closer I'll have to decide which one is better for me," Maulhardt said.
"I'm planning to go out to Boise State and doing that camp and maybe Colorado and some other different camps.
"I don't have the best 40 times but I feel when I'm one-on-one I can compete with everybody."
In his junior season, Maulhardt finished with 94 receptions for 1,191 yards and seven touchdowns.
