Mattes sets Pitt visit

Plymouth(Pa.) Wyoming Valley West offensive tackle Kurt Mattes will visit Pittsburgh Dec. 10. Has he set any additional visits up yet?
“It is close to home and they have a good program,” said the 6-foot-6, 265-pounder. “It is a good school and I’m interested in learning more about them.”
Mattes took his first official visit to Northwestern in October, and said there is no school in front for his services.
“I’m still looking, but I probably won’t take all my visits and it would be nice to be done by Christmas,” Mattes said.
The four-year starter at Wyoming Valley West High just recently completed his high school career after his team was knocked out of the playoffs with a 9-2 record.
“It's bad our season ended, but good to be able to deal with recruiting full time,’ Mattes said.
Mattes is ranked as the No. 51 offensive tackle in the country by Rivals.com and 24th best player in the state of Pennsylvania.
Other schools of interest include UConn, Indiana and Syracuse.
