Mattes makes pick
According to his coach, Ed Michaels, Plymouth (Pa.) Wyoming Valley West tight end Brian Mattes has officially announce his decision.
"He made it official a little bit ago," Michaels said. "He has committed to the University of Notre Dame."
Mattes picked Notre Dame over Virginia Tech, his other finalist. The 6-foot-6, 245-pounder is four-star selection.
