Matteo is waiting patiently
Offensive tackle Jackson Matteo out of Ashburn (Va.) Broad Run is continuing to wait patiently for more offers. The 6-foot-5, 276-pounder updated the latest including his most recent camp showings.
"My last camps were at James Madison and back to Virginia," he said. "Virginia was awesome, there were a lot of coaches there. I think I performed well.

"Virginia came up to me and told me the situation, they have four offensive linemen committed and the offensive line coach told me I'm more of an interior guy. I haven't heard from them, but it seems like they are really interested."
As for James Madison, they may be close.
"I've talked to Chris Malone and he said he would offer me, but it's not up to him."
Still, Matteo claims eight scholarships.
"I'm talking to Temple and Old Dominion more now," he said. "I'm starting to get letters from Cincinnati now."
What's next from here?
"Honestly, I'm waiting to see what Virginia says and if Virginia comes to me then we'll see," he said. "I'm not really planning officials as I'm waiting for Virginia and James Madison."
