Matteo has a favorite

Running back Eddie Matteo will be attending a new high school in the fall so his last year before college will be one of transition. He's still waiting for offers but he's ready to name a favorite.
Last season at Bethlehem (Penn.) Bethlehem Catholic had had 120 carries for 1,150 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a first-team all conference and all-area selection and could improve upon those numbers this year.

"I'm hearing from Temple, Boston, JMU, New Hampshire, Richmond, Penn State and Maryland," Matteo said. "That's about it. I'm going to camp at Boston, JMU, Temple and I'll camp at any other school that invites me."
Matteo said that up to this point Temple and James Madison have recruited him the hardest. Does he have a favorite?
"I like James Madison," he said. "It's a great area, a great school and it's on the rise. I like the students and they have a great coach."
This fall Matteo will be attending Freedom High School, also in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
"We start working out June 9," Matteo explained. "The coaches are cool. I like the (head) coach. His brother is a recruiter for Temple."
Matteo does not have a timetable for his decision and said it would depend on when offers start coming in.
