Matteo claims four favorites

Tony Matteo doesn't plan on making a decision in the immediate future so schools still have a chance to get involved and sway him.
For now, though, four schools have made a lasting impression on Matteo. That puts them in the best position.

"I would say probably UConn, West Virginia, Pitt and Cincinnati are sticking out," Matteo explained.
Cincinnati is the only one of those four schools that Matteo has actually visited so far.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive center from Akron (Ohio) Manchester attended a three-day camp at Ohio State a few weeks ago. He said he performed well and got a pretty good vibe from the coaches, though he's still waiting for an offer.
"The last week of this month I'm definitely going to West Virginia and hopefully I'll be going to Pitt soon," he added. "Those will just be unofficials.
"I'm thinking I might make a decision sometime later this month, probably after the end of the West Virginia visit."
Matteo, a three-star prospect and the No. 13 center nationally, has offers from all four of his favorite schools.
