Mathews reschedules Miami official
Before Christmas, Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers defensive end McKenzie Mathews had a visit scheduled with Miami. The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder has rescheduled the trip for this month. When is Mathews planning on going?
"He's scheduled a visit down to Miami for this weekend," said Christian Brothers head coach Joe Casamento. "He was supposed to go down before Christmas, but we had a snow day.

"McKenzie hasn't said too much about the visit, I think he's looking forward to it and wants to see what they are all about. Once he gets back from there and Boston College I'll sit down with his mom and figure stuff out."
The three-star prospect has one more visit to Boston College in two weeks on January 20th.
Does Mathews have any favorites heading into the final stretch of recruiting?
"I think it's hard for him to pick a favorite without seeing two of the schools yet, so right now I wouldn't think so."
The No. 16 weakside defensive end in the country accounted for 97 tackles, 27 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles as a senior.
