Mater Dei talent could be late signing

Every recruiting season there are players who get passed over, but end up finding that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow by becoming a late signing. One of Southern California's most respected coaches is Bruce Rollinson of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei and feels he has one of those players who will get that late scholie. When a coach of Rollinson's stature has this kind of belief, it is a very good idea to take a second look.
The player in question is running back Jaron Hytche (5-9, 205, 4.6). He was a major contributor for the always tough Mater Dei.

It is very obvious, Rollinson thinks very highly of his outstanding senior running back.
"Jaron has great game speed," Rollinson said. "He has the strength to break tackles and the finesse to make you miss. He also has outstanding lower body strength and has tremendous balance."
"Jaron is the complete running back," Rollinson said. "He has great hands coming out of the backfield and he is an outstanding run blocker, what makes him special is his pass blocking."
"Jaron understands the concepts of pass protection," Rollinson said. "He pulls the levers and stones level two blitzers."
"I'm going to use his video as a training film on how to pass pro correctly," Rollinson said. "Jaron is the ideal situational back."
It is hard to believe that some school hasn't offered Hytche yet when you consider that he rushed for 1,423 yards and 26 touchdowns while playing in the one of the most difficult schedules in the Southern Section CIF.
Hytche would be an ideal late guy for a team that needs an every down running back.
