Matas talks visits and offers
Mentor, Ohio, defensive end Steve Matas, who has landed three scholarship offers, is hoping to visit as many schools as he can.
"Some of the schools are Ohio State, Iowa, Akron, Bowling Green, Minnesota, Cincinnati and Miami of Ohio," Matas said when asked what schools he is interested in. "Those are probably my top ones right now.

"Minnesota, Miami and Cincinnati have offered."
The 6-foot-5 and 230-pound Matas has visited a number of schools.
"I visited Iowa, Ohio State, Bowling Green, and Akron," Matas said. "I'm trying to visit as many schools as I can.
"I went to Iowa's spring scrimmage. I was really impressed with the facilities.
"I've been to Ohio State twice. I went to the Illinois-Ohio State football game and I also went to the Ohio State-Michigan basketball game.
"I'll probably go to some camps (this summer) too, but I don't know which ones yet."
