Massive WR drawing the coaches

This is an extremely good year in Mississippi for skill position players, particularly wide receivers. One of the best in the Magnolia State is Gautier, Miss., wide out Jonathan Massey, who has already drawn interest from several SEC and ACC programs.
"I have offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Vanderbilt," Massey said. "So far Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Auburn and Florida State have come by and LSU is coming by this week."
The 6-foot-2, 243-pound Massey attended the Tallahassee NIKE camp and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds, did 17 reps on the bench press reps and did a 28-inch vertical jump.
"At first Ole Miss, LSU and Florida State were my top schools," Massey said. "But after talking to schools like Clemson, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt the playing field has been evened out. I really couldn't put any school on top."
As a junior Massey caught 46 passes for 705 yards and seven touchdowns for 15.3 yards per catch.
"I am being recruited as both a tight end and wide receiver," Massey said. "I prefer wide receiver, but I wouldn't mind playing tight end if it was in an offense that uses their tight ends a lot in the passing game."
Though Massey has plenty of options, don't expect him to make a decision time any soon.
"I am going to wait and take some of my visits first," Massey said. "I want to make sure that I give myself some time and look and examine everything before I make any kind of decision."
