Massive OL has top five

Lafayette (La.) Carencro offensive tackle Dwight Alexander is not only one of the best players at his position in the Pelican State, he is one of the biggest prospects in the South and has picked up three scholarship offers.
“I have written offers from South Carolina and Louisiana-Lafayettee,” Alexander said. “I have a verbal offer from Indiana right now too. Auburn, LSU, Kansas State, Alabama and Mississippi State have been calling me lately.”

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Alexander runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds and has a 26-inch vertical jump.
“I have not been to any college games so far this year,” Alexander said. “I am going to be going to the LSU game this weekend though. I am going to set up all of my official visits for when the season is over.”
Last Friday, Alexander’s teammate and fellow college prospect ran for 539 yards behind the blocking of Alexander. While Alexander is in no hurry to make a decision, he does have five schools on top.
“Right now South Carolina, Indiana, LSU, Auburn and Kansas State are the schools that I am looking at the hardest,” Alexander said. “I am looking for a place where I can potentially play early and I want to play for a winning program.”
