Position: Offensive tackle
Size and speed: Weininger stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 300 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds and bench presses 300 pounds.
Statistics: n/a
Honors: All-conference, all-region.
Favorite Schools: Maryland, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Northwestern.
Skinny: Weininger is a massive offensive lineman with good strength and adequate quickness. He is one of the top offensive linemen in New York this year and already has offers from Maryland and Syracuse.
“Right now I like Maryland and Syracuse the best,” he said. “Location doesn’t really matter to me. I want a place where I feel comfortable and where I can get a good education.”
Weininger is a dominant run blocker and overpowers opponents with his size and strength. He’ll need to adapt to a passing offense in college.
