Massive Miami OL has top five

Miami (Fla.) South Miami mammoth offensive tackle Simon Codrington has been hard to catch up with this summer, but Rivals.com was finally able to do so. He has slowly picked up momentum over the summer and is now considered one of the top lineman in South Florida.
“I have offers from NC State, Florida, Auburn, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, South Florida, Mississippi State, Eastern Michigan, Florida International and Eastern Kentucky,” Codrington said.

Codrington is a 6-foot-7, 260-pound monster who runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. He has a 375-pound squat and a 255-pound bench press.
“Right now I would say that my top five is NC State, Miami, Auburn, Florida and West Virginia,” Codrington said. “I plan on taking all of my visits this fall before I make any kind of decision. I want to make sure that I see all of my options and see where I fit in best.”
He is actually Simon Codrington III and his father Simon Codrington II played tight end at Eastern Kentucky in the late 70’s.
“I am looking for a school that has a good graduation rate and where I can get a good education,” Codrington said. “I want to play in a good city, where I will enjoy myself and have things to do. Playing time isn’t the most important thing to me, but I am going to be looking at the depth chart to see how many seniors a school has at my position.”
