Junior to Watch: Bryan Grier
School: Bloomfield, Ct.

Position: Defensive tackle
Size and speed: Grier stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 325 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. He bench presses 385 pounds and squats 675.
Statistics: Grier registered 90 tackles as a junior.
Honors: First team all-state
Favorite Schools: Syracuse, Boston College, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Virginia, UConn.
Skinny: Grier is a dominant defensive tackle with quick feet. He helped lead his team to their fifth straight state title. Although his brother is a defensive tackle at Purdue, the younger Grier wants to make his own way.
“I’m looking at mostly schools on the east coast but I also like Michigan State and Wisconsin,” he said. “I’ve thought about Purdue, but I’m keeping my options open and might want to make my own mark.”
Grier isn’t sure where he’ll camp this summer and hasn’t received his first offer yet.
