Massachusetts QB is one to watch

UMass recently gave West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial quarterback A.J. Doyle his first verbal offer and plenty of other schools are continuing to evaluate him.
With big-time prospects such as Armani Reeves and Camren Williams at Catholic Memorial, Doyle is guaranteed to be scouted by plenty of colleges in the months ahead.

The 6-foot-3, 226-pound quarterback doesn't know what visits he will be taking in the future but talked about the recruiting process with Rivals.com recently.
"I went to Rutgers a few weeks ago when I was there for the Badger Sports 7-on-7," he recalled.
"From what I saw (at Rutgers) it was very nice. They have good facilities and the additions they added in the past ten years are so beautiful."
Boston College, UConn, NC State, Syracuse, Georgia, Wake Forest, Missouri, Memphis, Penn State, Temple and Duke are the other schools that have expressed varying degrees of interest in Doyle.
He doesn't have any favorites yet.
One thing to consider, for Doyle and those following his recruitment, is the possibility that some schools might move him to linebacker.
That's something that could prove to be a decisive factor if Doyle picks up other offers, but for now he isn't worrying about it too much.
