Mason set to decide between two

Lake Worth (Fla.) Park Vista running back Tre Mason took an official visit this past weekend to Ole Miss. The four-star back came away very impressed with what he saw while in Oxford.
"I had a great time," Mason said. "The things that stood out to me the most were the coaches and the indoor facility."

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound back talked about the coaching staff.
"Coach (Chris) Vaughn and all of the coaches were great," Mason said. "They showed me a good time and that they are a family. They showed me how they welcome another player. Everything went cool."
Mason was hosted on the visit by freshman defensive back Charles Sawyer.
"He is from Miami," Mason said. "He told me that all the players are treated well. He said it is definitely a brotherhood over there and that they are a family. He said what you see is what you get."
The Rivals250 prospect shared some additional details about what you see at Ole Miss.
"What you see is everybody bonding, everybody is one, and the coaches really do treat you like you are one of their kids," Mason said. "Coach (Houston) Nutt will work to bring you to the top. It is just a family oriented program."
Mason said he intends to decide on National Signing Day and that he will use this weekend to reflect on his finalists.
"I am done with trips," Mason said. "That was my last trip. That is all she wrote."
The decision will come down to a pair of SEC schools.
"It will be between Auburn and Ole Miss," Mason said. "I am still sorting everything out. They are very even right now. I have a good relationship with both coaching staffs. It is just going to come down to my gut feeling, where I feel I can wake up every day and it is home, that it is my second home."
As a senior, Mason ran for 1,643 yards and 24 touchdowns.
