Nashville (Tenn.) Pearl-Cohn wide receiver Rashad Mason has switched up his official visit schedule. The 6-foot-6, 220-pounder has two visits remaining, and will see one SEC program and one ACC program.
According to Pearl-Cohn head coach Tony Brunetti, Mason will make an official visit to Kentucky this coming weekend. The four-star rated prospect had previously scheduled an official visit to Clemson for the weekend of Feb. 2.
Mason previously was scheduled to visit LSU this coming weekend.
"I was supposed to go down there, but the coach called and told me they had gotten commitments from other wide receivers," Mason said. "They got a commit from a junior college player Demetrius Byrd and may have filled up at my position."
Mason previously has visited North Carolina, Michigan and Ole Miss. This week, coaches from those three programs have visited him either at school or at home. Rebels assistant coach Hugh Freeze was in on Friday.
Mason is the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee and is a member of the Rivals250.
Mason says that all of the schools on his list currently are even and that he will compare all of the schools after his visits are complete.
He will announce his decision on National Signing Day during a press conference at his high school.
