Masina starting to get exposure
Uaea Masina still does not have any offers but after performing well at the New Level Athletics Elite 7on7 in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and again this past weekend at the IMG Madden 7-on-7 West Regional many schools are showing interest.
The Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton linebacker said USC, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon State, Cal and Army are all getting involved and he's excited to see his recruitment pick up in a big way.

"It's picked up a lot," Masina said.
"It is exciting. It's fun that one camp could just change all that. It's pretty sweet to know."
Masina, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound outside linebacker, said he visited UCLA on Friday and USC on Saturday and loved both schools. The coaching staffs said they'd like to see more of him and Masina is definitely interested in making return trips.
"We went down (Saturday) morning and talked to some coaches and toured the campus," Masina said of USC. "I thought it was pretty cool. Some of the players came out and talked to us and they talked about how they loved their experience there and how they loved the school.
"We saw UCLA (Friday). It looked pretty nice. It was pretty sweet. Everything was really close and I kind of liked it."
Because programs are just getting involved with Masina, he said there are no favorites and he's just waiting to first pick up offers and then decide on leaders.
He's still trying to get more exposure and hopefully by attending more camps and 7-on-7 events that can happen.
"I don't really have any favorites," Masina said. "I'm just keeping options open and looking everywhere."
The reason Masina might not have any offers yet is because he mainly plays tailback in high school and has limited linebacker film to send coaches. But once he gets out this spring and summer and college coaches see him there's no question he can start landing some major offers.
