Maryland Standout Looking Out Of State
Despite their recent success, Maryland is still trying to take the lead for one of their top in-state targets.
“I still like Virginia the best because they want me on the defensive line,” said 6-foot-4, 315-pound stud Ron Darden from Glen Burnie, Md. “Maryland has offered and so has East Carolina, but Maryland wants me as an offensive lineman and I’m not sure.”

Darden has more than 70 tackles and five sacks on defense this season.
“Maryland is close to home so I like that,” he said. “But Virginia is close as well. I’ll take visits to both of them.”
