Maryland QB on the verge of more offers

With two offers in-hand already, quarterback Wayne Warren out of Salisbury (Md.) Wicomico is looking for more offers. Plenty of schools are getting closer to offering a scholarship to the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder.
"I've got offers from Stanford and Syracuse," he said. "I'm also getting interest from Rutgers, Navy, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.

"All of the schools that haven't offered like my athletic ability and the way I can move. They all want me to get down to one day camps before they actually offer so the head coach can see me."
Recently Warren participated in the Elite College Combine and Penn State Nike Camp.
"I did pretty well in both," he said. "I was in the shadow of E.J. Manuel, but besides that I think I showed off some of my ability. I started rough at Penn State because I was nervous, but kept my head up and had fun and I think the coaches noticed I have a pretty strong arm and great feet."
At this time, the Maryland prospect claims there are no leaders.
"I can't get any school to stick out to me until they offer," he said. "Pretty much, I'm looking for somewhere I'm comfortable and will fit in and be able to play ball in their system. I want to play and learn while I'm there. It's not just four years, I want to learn something for life."
Warren is looking at camping at Maryland, Virginia, Rutgers, Syracuse potentially Stanford this summer.
