Offensive tackle Malik Jones claims one offer to date. What does the 6-foot-5, 245-pounder think of the scholarship and what's the latest now?
"I have an offer from UTEP," he said. "I got it sometime in January. I talked to the coach and they told me they'd have more contact with me over the summer."
Jones only knows a little bit about UTEP.

"The onlg thing I know is that they are in Conference USA, that's about it," he said. "I would like to visit there one day though."
In the meantime, Jones is coming off a visit elsewhere.
"I actually visited West Virginia last week," he said. "It was good, really good.
"The coaches told me they'd keep in contact. I have a feeling an offer will come. They want me to be patient.
"Overall, it was a nice school. I could see myself going there and fitting into that system."
Jones confirmed plans to head back to West Virginia for their spring game.
Clearly a bit undersized still, Jones is waiting on colleges.
"Nothing stands out right now as a lot of schools want to see me bulk up more before they do something."
So, what sticks out about him?
"I'm an athletic offensive lineman," he said. "I can do a lot of things that some people can't. I think I could actually play tight end in college, but I'm athletic as a tackle."
