Size and speed: Woodyard is 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.54 seconds.
Statistics: In his junior season Woodyard collected 140 tackles with five sacks and seven forced fumbles.
Honors: Woodyard was an all-conference and all-county performer as a junior.
Favorite schools: Woodyard's favorite schools are Syracuse and Boston College, but he remains open. He also lists Maryland, UConn, Purdue and Duke.
Skinny: As a first-year linebacker in 2002, Woodyard showed his tremendous talent as he put up excellent numbers. His speed and athleticism make him a great prospect.
"My two favorites are probably Syracuse and Boston College," said Woodyard. "But for the most part I'm open. Syracuse, Boston College, Maryland and UConn all offered me scholarships about a month ago, and I've heard from schools like Purdue and Duke. I'm keeping things open, but if I had to choose then Syracuse and BC would be my top two.
"I just like the way they came after me so early on, which shows that they really like my ability and they probably think I could be a player that helps them early on. I like both campuses, and they're both really good programs. I haven't taken any official visits, but I've been to Syracuse and I liked it."
