Maryland DE waits for more offers

Greenbelt (Md.) Eleanor Roosevelt defensive end Dalonte Wallace recently attended two more camps. The 6-foot-0, 199-pounder stopped through two schools in the ACC.
"I came back from Wake Forest recently and then I went to Virginia's camp two weeks ago," he said. "Wake Forest was really good. I saw the facilities and they had a lot competition out there. It was a good atmosphere.

"I was able to speak the coaches and they were pretty impressed with what they had seen. They said they'd keep in touch with me in the future and then go from there. Overall I felt confident on my performance."
What about Wallace's visit to Virginia?
"They along with Maryland and Connecticut who I visited earlier this summer are all in similar positions. They want to see my first two games this season since I didn't play linebacker last year to find out how I perform."
At this time, the two-star prospect maintains there aren't any leaders.
"I've been to Maryland, Wake, Virginia and others," he said. "All of them have great facilities, but no one leads."
Currently Wallace holds four offers from Akron, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan and JMU.
