Martin turns focus to season

Frank Martin had a busy summer. He landed a bunch of offers. He heard from a bunch of schools.
Now with his junior season only days away, the 2016 offensive tackle from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei is solely focused on playing games and he's put the recruiting process on the back burner.

"I'm not talking to colleges right now," Martin said.
There will be plenty of time for that.
The four-star prospect has already landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, LSU, Oregon State, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
As for his plans this fall, Martin said he wants to attend some games at the local schools but he's really concerned about having a strong season at powerhouse Mater Dei first and then he'll look at his recruitment later on.
"I'm probably going to go to some games but that's pretty much it," Martin said." I'll definitely be going to USC and UCLA games."
The four-star lineman has landed some big-time offers already but the Trojans and Bruins have not come through yet.
Martin, a 6-foot-5, 296-pound recruit, said he has not talked with either coaching staff much in the last few weeks but there is no question both programs have been showing interest this offseason. Offers could be close but Martin is not sure.
"I haven't been talking to them lately because I've been focusing on the season," Martin said. "I honestly don't know about offers. If it comes, it comes."
Rivals.com rates Martin as the No. 11 offensive tackle and the No. 108 prospect in the 2016 class.
