Martin talks about Cincy commitment

Green Springs (Ohio) Clyde's Jared Martin is a talented and versatile athlete, and those are two of the qualities Cincinnati Bearcat coach Mark Dantonio had to be impressed with. The 6-foot-1 and 170 pound Martin, who has committed to Cincinnati, has been a varsity starter at free safety since his sophomore year, and free safety and quarterback his junior season.
Martin intercepted two passes during his junior season while also passing for over 500 yards and rushing for close to 500 more.

"Cincinnati recruited me as an athlete," Martin said. "They say I could play either receiver or defensive back."
"Cincinnati was my first offer. I really like the coaches a lot. I really like coach Dantonio. I really like the stadium a lot. And I thought the campus was beautiful."
Martin went to a one day camp at Cincinnati, a combine at Bowling Green, and a three day camp at Bowling Green before he committed to the Bearcats.
