Martin schedules second official

Defensive end Jeremiah Martin out of Upper Marlboro (Md.) Gwynn Park took his first official visit a couple weeks back to Buffalo. The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder is planning on heading out on another official in a couple more weeks.

"The official to Buffalo was pretty cool," he said. "It was a nice visit and they have a lot to offer academically. I liked the overall facilities and the program. The coaches and players were also cool. The only thing about it, is that I can't see myself going there. I don't think it's my cup of tea."

Next up for Martin is a trip to Akron on November 9th.

"I'm going up there when they play Buffalo and leaving on Thursday," he said. "I'm really taking Akron into consideration because it's a nice school and the coaches are really friendly. They make me feel so comfortable there and are real with me. They are also honest about recruiting me for defensive end and not linebacker."

Meanwhile, a handful of other schools are staying in touch with Martin including Cincinnati, Penn State and Tennessee.
