Martin keeping things wide open

Safety Cameron Martin has established himself as one of the top prospects in Virginia, and he has the offers to prove it. But just because the scholarships are rolling in, don't assume Martin is beginning to narrow things down.
"Right now I'm still pretty wide open," said the 6-foot-2, 180-pound safety from Danville (Va.) George Washington. "North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Maryland and Wake Forest have all offered me, so I have plenty of schools to consider. I'm not ruling out any school that has offered me yet."

Martin runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and as a junior recorded 72 tackles and five interceptions as one of the top defensive backs in the region.
"Virginia Tech was the first school to offer me, but since then things have really picked up. It's nice that they were the first, but I don't that will cause me to be biased at all."
What are Martin's biggest strengths on the field?
"First off I think I'm a really smart player," he said. "I know my assignments and I know where the other guys are supposed to be. I'm a good leader too. I have good speed and closing ability, and I'm not afraid to come up to the line and help against the run."
