Some days are busier than others and Friday was plenty busy for Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial 2016 running back Kameron Martin.
Earlier in the week, Florida and California became offers 14 and 15 for the speedster from southeast Texas. On Friday, he added four more.
First was Tennessee. The Volunteers let him know they were extremely interested on Wednesday, and once they were final able to connect running back coach Robert Gillespie, he was notified of the offer.
Then came Florida State, and coach Brewster let him know how bad they wanted him in Tallahassee, and then coach Jimbo Fisher had a message for him.
"You know we're coming to get you, Kam," Martin said.
After Florida State it was the Louisville Cardinals, when the standout running back gave offensive coordinator Garrick McGee a call.
"He said I've had an offer since last week," Martin said, who was finally able to connect with the Cardinal coaches.
Then he finished the day with Notre Dame.
Not a bad day at all. And after naming Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Missouri as standout schools at the Rivals Camp in Houston, he admits he has a few things to think about.
"I'm going to have to really keep them open now," Martin said. "I just got the No. 1 school in America to offer me, and Louisville, Tennessee, and all these other schools have offered me too. Then I have to talk to Oregon later on tonight to see what's up."
Could the Ducks make it five for the day and an even 20 offers overall? We will definitely see.
